On 8 September 2011 Sasol Inzalo Ordinary shareholders were able to start trading in their Sasol Inzalo Ordinary Shares. Computershare provided assistance to shareholders to process the transfer of their Sasol Inzalo Ordinary Shares in the event of a sale or purchase of those shares. However, such a transaction was dependent on shareholders identifying their own buyer or seller.
To streamline this process, the Sasol Inzalo Public Ordinary share trading platform was made available to Sasol Inzalo Ordinary shareholders on 1 March 2012 that allows current and potential shareholders to register their selling or buying orders.
However, to ensure compliance with regulations stipulated by the Financial Services Board (FSB), on 17 September 2015, Sasol Inzalo Public announced its intention to list on the BEE Segment of the Main Board of the stock exchange operated by the JSE.
Trading on the Sasol Inzalo Ordinary share trading platform was suspended on the 19th November 2015, to allow for the transition of trading to the JSE Limited. Provided that all resolutions are approved by shareholders on 21 November 2015, trading will commence on the BEE Segment of the JSE on or about 1 December 2015.
